Qualifications

Work Environment

This position involves working in diverse settings, primarily on the road. The role is permanent, requiring a commitment of 40 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities
  • Load and unload cargo with care.
  • Operate and navigate straight or articulated trucks to transport materials.
  • Inspect vehicle conditions, including tires, lights, and brakes.
  • Conduct pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections.
  • Perform necessary maintenance and adjustments to ensure vehicle safety.
  • Communicate effectively with central dispatch regarding transportation details.
  • Maintain accurate records of cargo, service hours, distance traveled, and fuel usage.
  • Ensure the safety and security of all transported goods.
