Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership and Team Management: Attract, retain, coach, and support Delmanor Elgin Mills employees by planning, organizing, and implementing regular feedback meetings.
  • Employee Engagement: Utilize our online reward and recognition program to celebrate achievements and ensure maximum participation in our online employee engagement platform.
  • Financial Management: Manage the budget, responsible for marketing and outreach programs to meet occupancy goals and revenue targets, as well as controlling expenses.
  • Resident Experience: Provide a healthy and safe environment for residents by evaluating nursing care activities, ensuring the culinary services plan provides creative and healthy food and meets public health requirements, and providing meaningful and appropriate recreational activities.
  • Relationship Building: Develop relationships with residents' families, the Support Office Team, other Delmanor communities, as well as industry stakeholders and partners.

Requirements:

  • Experience: 5 years' related management experience.
  • Education: A diploma or degree from an accredited post-secondary institution, with a preference for studies in Business, Hospitality, Nursing, Social Work, or Gerontology.
  • Skills: Top-notch communication skills, experience with financial management and salary administration, and proven leadership and problem-solving skills.
