Job Summary

We are seeking an Intermediate Environmental Scientist to join our Atlantic Environmental Assessment and Permitting team in Nova Scotia. The successful candidate will provide support on a wide variety of projects as delegated by senior staff within the group.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Support: Assist in the planning and execution of environmental permit applications, environmental assessments, and other related projects.
  • Technical Expertise: Familiarity with wetland assessments, terrestrial biological studies, and/or estuary/marine biological studies.
  • Reporting and Proposals: Prepare proposals and technical reports for various projects.
Requirements
  • Education: University Degree in Biology or Environmental Science, or technical diploma in a related field.
  • Experience: 2-5 years of experience in environmental science or a related field.
  • Skills: Solid technical and/or academic background in biological sciences, experience with environmental resources surveys and analysis, strong computer, verbal and written communication skills.
  • Work Environment: Ability to work in Canada with a valid Canadian driver's license, work effectively as a member of a team, and independently with minimal supervision and direction.
