Job Title: Business Quality Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Quality Analyst to join our team at Scotiabank. As a Business Quality Analyst, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality of our banking applications and systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate testing of medium to large projects using multiple delivery channels across various platforms, configurations, and environments.
  • Work closely with development teams to understand business functions and requirements.
  • Assess individual project needs and ensure a stable environment for conducting QA tests.
  • Develop, implement, and document all testing activities, including test planning, test documentation, test execution, defect tracking, and reporting.
  • Supervise and coordinate testing for projects/releases, including assessing UAT projects, designing UAT test plans, and scheduling and approving the release of projects into the UAT environment.
Requirements:
  • Extensive understanding of code management, server and applications layering, environment configuration, and databases.
  • Strong working knowledge of PCs and department-related software.
  • Ideal experience working on agile and waterfall projects in a fast-paced, challenging environment.
  • Understanding of automation tools and experience using automation scripts for project testing is desirable.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a detail-oriented approach to project testing.
