About the Role

We are seeking a skilled plumber journeyman/woman to join our team at Pipestrong Plumbing and Heating Ltd. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing plumbing systems in various commercial and residential settings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Installation and Maintenance
    • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the layout of plumbing systems, water supply networks, and waste and drainage systems.
    • Locate and mark positions for pipe connections, passage holes, and fixtures in walls and floors.
    • Cut openings in walls and floors to accommodate pipes and pipe fittings.
    • Join pipes using couplings, clamps, screws, bolts, cement, or soldering, brazing, and welding equipment.
  • Apprenticeship and Training
    • Provide guidance and instruction to apprentices in the plumbing trade.
    • Ensure that apprentices meet the required standards and complete their level four apprenticeship training.
  • Transportation and Travel
    • Hold a valid driver's license and be willing to travel to various job sites.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities
    • Work in a physically demanding environment, requiring bending, crouching, kneeling, and handling heavy loads.
  • Personal Qualities
    • Be a team player with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
