Job Title: RMT (Registered Massage Therapist)

We are seeking a skilled RMT to join our team at Massage Haven. As a Registered Massage Therapist, you will be responsible for administering massage techniques to clients, providing education on procedures and benefits, and maintaining accurate records of treatments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Administer massage techniques through soft tissue manipulation, relaxation techniques, hydrotherapy, trigger point therapy, and joint mobilizations.
  • Explain procedures, risks, and benefits to clients, ensuring they are fully informed and comfortable with their treatment plan.
  • Maintain accurate records of treatments given, including client information, treatment details, and any relevant notes.
  • Massage and knead muscles and soft tissues of the body, using a range of techniques to promote relaxation and relief from pain and tension.
  • Suggest home care instructions and provide information about techniques to clients, empowering them to take an active role in their health and wellness.
Requirements:
  • Certification by a provincial or territorial association for massage therapists.
  • Experience an asset, but not required.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive client information.
