Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure compliance with legal age requirements for serving alcoholic beverages.
  • Present bills to patrons and process payments through various methods.
  • Articulate menu offerings, including daily specials, to enhance customer experience.
  • Adhere to provincial/territorial liquor laws and regulations.
  • Provide recommendations on menu selections to guests.
  • Manage cash transactions and maintain accurate sales records.
  • Maintain cleanliness of tables, trays, and seating areas.
  • Offer guidance on wine selections to enhance dining experiences.
  • Welcome guests, present menus, and respond to inquiries regarding food and drink.
  • Serve food and beverages efficiently.
  • Take and relay orders to kitchen and bar staff promptly.
  • Assist guests with special needs to ensure a pleasant experience.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service consistently.
Qualifications
  • WHMIS Certificate
  • Food and Beverage Server Training
  • Responsible Beverage Service Certificate
Technical Skills
  • Familiarity with Aloha Point of Sale (POS) systems.
Work Conditions
  • Fast-paced environment requiring standing for extended periods.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
