We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Integration Specialist to join our team at Ericsson. As a key member of our cloud infrastructure team, you will be responsible for analyzing, preparing, deploying, and verifying the configuration and integration of nodes, networks, and systems to set up cloud infrastructure platforms for our customers in North America.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deploy Ericsson and third-party cloud platforms and ensure applications are onboarded onto the platform.
- Validate new hardware components per solution design requirements.
- Set up and develop automation to periodically deploy multiple labs in a repeatable manner.
- Perform lifecycle management activities on deployed sites.
- Collaborate with the Ericsson offshore and product R&D teams to resolve defects and issues.
- Stay up-to-date with new technologies and technical areas and share knowledge with the team to enhance customer competence.
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or Engineering.
- 7 years of overall experience working in the IT industry.
- At least 3+ years of experience working as an Integration Engineer in the Cloud domain, including Private and/or Public Cloud.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills in Linux, Virtualization, Container technologies, Networking, and other relevant areas.
- Hands-on experience with Cloud Networking, L2/L3 networking protocols, and other related technologies.
- Proficient in documenting test results and root-cause analysis.
- Hands-on experience configuring and troubleshooting Juniper and Extreme Switches and Routers.
- Good experience working with HTTP(S), TCP/IP, REST API, and other Internet protocols.
- Experience with Cloud Storage backend technologies such as Ceph, Cinder, Manila, iSCSI, and/or ZFS.
- Expertise in YAML, Linux commands, and Shell scripting.
- Good understanding of Cloud Native Security principles and open-source tools.
- Knowledge of Datacenter Design, Networking, and CLOS Topology.
