Job Title: Project Manager: Applications/Architecture

Location: Remote

Type: Contract

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead our Applications and Architecture projects. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing projects to maintain and expand Operational Data Environments and develop new reporting functionality and interfaces with other applications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage projects to deliver agreed functions within specified timeframes and budgets in accordance with guidelines, standards, and procedures.
  • Identify skills and abilities required to successfully complete projects; manage resources and manage performance against deliverables of the project(s).
  • Identify opportunities to improve methods within IT and develop and implement processes to enhance efficiency.
  • Develop and manage budgets to ensure their effectiveness.
  • Ensure quality of deliverables within the applications or services environment.

Requirements

  • University Degree: PMP certification
  • 7 to 10 years of project management experience with advanced experience in applications and infrastructure implementations.
  • Demonstrated project management and project leadership skills.
  • Strong team building and leadership management skills.
  • Excellent organization skills, including effective time management, coordination with stakeholders, and managing customer expectations.
  • Excellent facilitation skills, including training, facilitating workshops, hosting information gathering sessions, and making presentations.
  • Good understanding of application programming, database, and system design.
  • Knowledge of SDLC methodologies and service-oriented design, development, and deployment.
  • Experience in report development and reporting tools.
  • Keeps abreast of current and emerging technology, development, and/or operations tools.
