Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Estimator to join our team at Kiewit. As a Senior Estimator, you will be responsible for developing detailed cost estimates for large, complex projects in the civil infrastructure sector.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop comprehensive cost estimates for infrastructure projects, including highways, bridges, mass transit, and hydroelectric power generation.
  • Supervise and review estimates prepared by junior estimators to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Collaborate with project managers and engineers to develop project plans and schedules.
  • Conduct site investigations to identify potential risks and opportunities.
  • Utilize industry-standard estimating software and techniques to develop estimates.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments, including new technologies and methodologies.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  • 7-10 years of experience in civil infrastructure estimation, with a focus on large, complex projects.
  • Extensive knowledge of infrastructure projects, including highways, bridges, and hydroelectric power generation.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders.
