About the Role

This is a senior-level position that involves working closely with stakeholders to identify business needs and develop data-driven solutions. As a Chief Data Functional Analyst, you will be responsible for defining solutions, writing functional data integration briefs, and participating in the development of robust and stable solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and analyze business and functional needs of stakeholders
  • Define solutions and write functional data integration briefs for developer teams
  • Participate in the development of robust and stable solutions
  • Link business needs and technological requirements
  • Analyze data and participate in end-to-end testing
  • Understand current processes and establish target processes by working closely with multiple stakeholders
About the Team

You will be part of a team of over 100 colleagues in the IT Cybercrimes Delivery sector, working closely with the Senior Director. Our team is known for its quality of delivery, experience, and ability to work on multiple projects.

Requirements
  • University degree related to the industry and several years of relevant experience
  • Hands-on experience with Agile development and delivery methodologies
  • Excellent command of SQL
  • Data modeling experience (dimensional model, data vault model)
  • Good knowledge of event flows (Kafka, ETL)
  • Demonstrated experience in business, functional, technical, and application analysis in a complex organization
  • Experience in a banking environment, desirable
  • Hands-on experience with quality assurance testing
  • Knowledge of Atlassian tools (JIRA, Confluence)
Language

English and French are the primary languages used in this role. You will need to discuss frequently with service providers or partners who speak a language other than French.

Skills

The ideal candidate will have skills in data modeling, data structures, data visualization, data-driven decision-making, functional analysis, functional specifications, JIRA, learning agility, problem-solving, and structured query language.
