As a Software Engineering Lead, you'll play a critical role in helping us achieve this mission by leading the development of cloud-based services that drive innovation and excellence in software engineering.

Key Responsibilities
  • Technical Leadership: Contribute to the planning and execution of software development projects, ensuring that they meet the highest standards of quality, scalability, and supportability.
  • Cloud Native Expertise: Execute the design, development, deployment, and operation of cloud-based services, leveraging your expertise in cloud-native technologies such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Interface with user representatives and other engineering groups to define requirements and necessary modifications, ensuring seamless collaboration and effective communication.
  • Code Quality and Security: Hold high standards in writing quality, scalable, and supportable code, complete with appropriate unit tests, automated testing, documentation, and operationalization aspects in a CI/CD environment.
  • Problem-Solving and Innovation: Proactively collaborate with other teams to resolve roadblocks and ensure a smooth delivery, identifying areas of improvement that will grow the team to be more responsive and adaptable to changes.
Requirements
  • Professional Experience: 5+ years of professional software development experience in building complex, highly-scalable, performant, secure, reliable software systems in cloud-native environments and tools.
  • Technical Skills: 3+ years of hands-on experience and solid knowledge in.NET, React, Non-SQL such as Couchbase, GKE, and NGINX, as well as microservices.
  • Cloud Platforms: Proficiency with AWS, GCP, or Azure.
  • Agile Methodologies: Proficiency with TDD and CI/CD processes.
  • Leadership Abilities: Proven leadership abilities in an engineering environment in driving operational excellence and best practices.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent experience.
  • Industry Experience: Experience in the healthcare industry working with DICOM, HL7, FHIR.
  • API Design: Experience designing, creating, and securing APIs; Web Services (REST/JSON), OAuth, JWT, WS-Security, SAML, gRPC.
  • Database Knowledge: Solid knowledge of data structures, algorithms, distributed systems, and asynchronous architectures.
  • Cloud Experience: Knowledge and experience working in Public Cloud (GCP, AWS, Azure).
