Morgan Construction and Environmental (Ltd.) is seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Fuel and Lube Technician to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our heavy equipment fleet.
Key Responsibilities- Perform lubrication services and maintenance on a variety of heavy equipment, including excavators, dozers, rock trucks, and graders.
- Diagnose and complete preventive maintenance on all company equipment to ensure optimal performance and extend equipment lifespan.
- Grease and lubricate moving parts and components of heavy equipment to prevent wear and tear.
- Work effectively and safely in shops or outdoor construction site environments, adhering to Morgan's Safe Work Procedures and PPE policies.
- Ensure service trucks are kept clean, organized, and properly maintained for efficient use.
- Minimum of 2 years of work experience as a Fuel and Lube Technician.
- Previous experience driving a fuel truck is an asset.
- Must have (or be willing and able to obtain) CSTS-09/ OSSA Regional or BSO or CSO, Intermediate First Aid, H2S Alive, Ground Disturbance Level 2, Bear Awareness (in class).
- Provide own steel-toed 6" lace-up boots (CSA Approved).
- Able to repetitively and safely lift up to 50lbs.
- Work outdoors in various weather conditions, including rain, shine, and snow.
- Handle noise and vibrations on the job.
- Work up to 12 hours a day, including day and night shifts.
- Be willing to work in remote areas on a rotational schedule with accommodation provided.
Rate $30-$40/hour based on experience and skill.
