About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Physiotherapy Assistant to join our team at Wellspring Health and Wellness clinic. As a key member of our rehabilitation team, you will play a vital role in supporting our physiotherapists and occupational therapists in the assessment and treatment of patients with various injuries or disabilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assessment and Treatment
    • Administer evaluative tests and procedures to assess patients' physical abilities and develop treatment plans.
    • Assist physiotherapists and occupational therapists in the implementation of treatment programs.
  • Patient Care
    • Examine patients to identify their physical needs and develop individualized care plans.
    • Follow through on treatment programs with patients and provide ongoing support and guidance.
  • Administrative Tasks
    • Maintain accurate records of patient information, including medical history and treatment plans.
    • Process files and paperwork related to patient care.
  • Equipment Maintenance
    • Clean and maintain equipment to ensure it is in good working order.
    • Set up and dismantle equipment as needed.
  • Team Collaboration
    • Work collaboratively with physiotherapists, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
    • Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of treatment plans.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Work Experience
    • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a healthcare setting.
  • Language
    • Fluent in English.
  • Work Environment
    • Physically demanding work environment.
    • Ability to work under pressure and maintain attention to detail.
