About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Sales Supervisor to join our team at 2482883 Ontario Inc. As a Sales Supervisor, you will be responsible for leading a team of sales staff and overseeing the day-to-day operations of our retail store.

Key Responsibilities
  • Hiring and Training: Recruit, train, and develop a team of sales staff to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in their roles.
  • Merchandise Management: Order and manage inventory, including authorizing returns and ensuring that stock levels are maintained.
  • Scheduling and Organization: Establish and manage work schedules, including coordinating staff rotations and ensuring that the store is adequately staffed at all times.
  • Sales and Customer Service: Sell merchandise to customers, provide excellent customer service, and resolve any customer complaints in a professional and timely manner.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and submit regular reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters to senior management.
  • Inventory Control: Organize and maintain inventory, including tracking stock levels and ensuring that the store is well-stocked at all times.
  • Supervision: Supervise and coordinate the activities of sales staff, including providing guidance and support as needed.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a sales or retail environment.
  • Work Term: Permanent.
  • Work Language: English.
  • Hours: 30 hours per week.
