Key Responsibilities
  • Provide respiratory care to patients, including diagnostic testing and equipment maintenance
  • Document all aspects of patient care to ensure accurate and timely reporting
  • Participate in quality assurance activities to ensure high standards of care
  • Maintain competence and professionalism through ongoing education and training
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
Requirements
  • Diploma in Respiratory Therapy
  • Current registration with the College of Respiratory Therapy of Ontario
  • Current B.C.L.S. and Ontario Heart Foundation Standards
  • Proven problem-solving and teaching skills
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Sound judgment and good observation skills
  • Previous clinical experience an asset
  • Advanced educational preparation an asset
  • PALS and ACLS preferred
