Project Manager

We are seeking an experienced Equipment Project Manager to join our team at Trane in Quebec, QC. As an Equipment Project Manager, you will be responsible for the administration, implementation, and management of HVAC equipment projects.
Key Responsibilities:- Project Planning and Analysis: Plan and analyze assigned projects, establish schedules, and project parameters to accomplish system objectives.
- Customer Communication: Communicate with customers and their representatives, including building owners, mechanical contractors, other trades, subcontractors, and field support staff.
- Project Coordination: Compare estimated ship dates with contractors' project schedule and ensure compliance with internal equipment ordering processes.
- Cost Management: Maintain the accuracy of the forecasted cost at completion and control expenses by monitoring assigned project budget.
- Schedule Management: Create and make revisions to project schedules, including generating tasks, estimates, dependencies, and milestones.
- Equipment Ordering: Enter equipment orders, issue purchase orders, and generate work orders for equipment start-ups.
- Project Cash-Flow Management: Manage project cash-flow, including progress billing, collections support, and monitoring.
- Education and Experience: Associate's Degree in engineering or equivalent with a minimum of two (2) years of project management, equipment, HVAC, or related experience; OR a minimum of four (4) years of project management, equipment, HVAC, or related experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Skills and Abilities: Familiarity with HVAC systems and temperature equipment preferred. Strong customer service and problem-solving skills, strong communication skills, proactive approach, and willingness to work independently as well as part of a team.
