We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Warehouse Worker / Forklift Operator to join our team at our Edmonton Distribution Centre. As a key member of our Lumber Yard team, you will be responsible for efficiently and accurately assembling customer orders, serving customers in the yard, maintaining the presentation and organization of warehouse materials, and loading customer trucks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Loading and unloading of building materials in a safe and timely manner
  • Assisting in loading orders onto customer trucks
  • Conducting periodic inventory counts and spot checks
  • Maintaining a tidy and organized lumber yard and warehouse
  • Complying with all work safety rules and regulations
  • Providing excellent customer service to customers and truck drivers
  • Loading and unloading building materials using a forklift
  • Preparing, picking, and packing customer orders as required

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma
  • Forklift Certificate
  • Minimum of two years of experience in a lumber yard or warehouse environment
  • Ability to lift up to 80 pounds
  • Knowledge of the building materials industry
  • Able to work in outdoor conditions
  • Flexibility with start and finish times
  • Reliability and punctuality
  • Self-motivation and ability to work independently
