C.H. GUENTHER & SON LLC is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Operations to lead our production facility. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of site operations, including production, maintenance, engineering, and supply chain management.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement strategic plans to improve operational efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance customer satisfaction.
- Lead a team of production managers and supervisors to ensure smooth day-to-day operations and achieve production targets.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements, optimize supply chain management, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive business growth and improve operational performance.
- Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial reports to ensure accurate financial planning and decision-making.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including production teams, maintenance, and engineering, to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
- Identify and mitigate risks to ensure a safe and healthy work environment, and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as engineering, food science, or business administration.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in a production facility, with at least 3 years as a plant manager or in a similar leadership role.
- Proven track record of improving operational efficiency, reducing costs, and enhancing customer satisfaction.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Strong analytical and technical skills, with experience in data analysis and process improvement.
The Director of Operations will work in a fast-paced production environment, with regular exposure to unusual elements, such as dirt, dust, fumes, extreme temperatures, humidity, darkness, and/or noise. The position requires the ability to stand, sit, walk, and lift packages up to 50 pounds, as well as utilize fine dexterity and reach, kneel, crawl, and twist to inspect equipment.
