About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Cleaning Specialist to join our team at Janicorp Building Maintenance Ltd. As a key member of our facilities maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and organization of our properties.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors to maintain a clean and safe environment
  • Dust furniture and other surfaces to prevent dust buildup
  • Vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture to maintain a clean and tidy appearance
  • Disinfect operating rooms and other areas to maintain a high level of hygiene
  • Clean and disinfect elevators to ensure a safe and clean environment for users
  • Handle and report lost and found items to ensure a smooth and efficient operation
  • Pick up debris and empty trash containers to maintain a clean and organized environment
  • Wash windows, walls, and ceilings to maintain a clean and tidy appearance
Work Environment

You will be working in a variety of settings, including apartment/condominium complexes, office buildings, cleaning service companies, remote locations, industrial facilities or establishments, commercial buildings, and shopping centers or malls.

Requirements
  • Handling heavy loads is a requirement of this role
  • Physically demanding work is expected, including bending, crouching, kneeling, and a combination of sitting, standing, and walking
  • Overtime may be required to meet the needs of our clients
  • Weight handling up to 23 kg (50 lbs) is a requirement of this role
