Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled mechanical systems engineer to join our dynamic engineering team. This role will report directly to the Team Leader of Vehicle Engineering and will play a crucial role in the design, development, and validation of various mechatronic systems for recreational vehicles.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct detailed parts modeling and create technical drawings (GD&T) throughout the vehicle development process, from initial prototypes to full-scale production.
- Assist the workshop with the assembly, testing, and validation of prototype vehicles.
- Engage actively in the configuration of vehicle specifications.
- Collaborate with fellow designers and engineers in the innovation and development of new components, systems, and vehicles.
- Work closely with suppliers and coordinate with design, production, purchasing, quality assurance, and manufacturing engineering teams.
This Role is Ideal for You If You Possess:
- A technical college diploma or a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, or equivalent design experience.
- A solid understanding of mechanical principles and strong 3D visualization skills.
- Proficiency in software tools such as Catia V5 or Solidworks.
- Effective communication skills in both English and French (written and spoken).
- A keen interest in devising innovative solutions to challenges, with a reputation for creativity.
