As a key member of our production team at Aspire Bakeries, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our mixing process. Our company is a leading North American baking company with a strong presence in the specialty frozen baked goods market.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement efficient mixing schedules to meet production demands
  • Conduct regular inspections of mixing equipment to ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and mechanical integrity
  • Follow established mixing procedures and standards to ensure consistency and quality
  • Monitor and control batter production to prevent downtime and optimize batch processing
  • Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of mixing activities, including batch temperatures and formula deviations
  • Identify and report any variances to formulas or mixing procedures to the production lead or supervisor
  • Ensure that all team members are aware of their responsibilities related to food safety, regulatory compliance, and quality control
  • Adhere to all applicable job procedures outlined in the Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) manual
  • Comply with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and health and safety regulations as outlined in the employee handbook
  • Ensure that GMPs and safe food handling practices are consistently followed
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the production lead or supervisor

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent with basic math skills
  • Ability to work at a fast pace with accuracy to meet production demands
  • Excellent attendance and work habits
  • Understanding of GMPs and safety protocols
  • Basic computer skills
