The successful applicant will be a skilled communicator with a solid foundation in journalism. In this role, you will be tasked with delivering precise and captivating news content to our audience throughout the region.

Primary Duties:

  • Present news articles and announcements with clarity and precision.
  • Revise news scripts to enhance clarity and correctness.
  • Guarantee the timely airing of news segments.
  • Cover breaking news events in Southern Saskatchewan.
  • Propose story ideas and content contributions.
  • Host news, sports, and agricultural segments.
  • Compose and refresh local and regional news articles.
  • Keep track of social media and emergency feeds for news updates.
  • Perform additional tasks as required.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in a radio newsroom environment.
  • Exceptional writing and communication abilities.
  • Capability to thrive in a fast-paced setting.
  • Knowledge of social media and online content distribution.
