Custodial Services Worker

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Custodial Services Worker to join our Facilities Management team at Michelin Tire plant in Granton. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment for our customers and employees.
Key Responsibilities- Perform general cleaning duties, including shop floor cleaning, trash removal, storage room cleaning and organizing, and restocking of supplies.
- Ensure all areas, including entranceways and walkways, are clean and clear of hazards.
- Maintain high standards of professionalism when interacting with team members, clients, and customers.
- Conduct regular inventory checks of cleaning supplies and notify management when replenishment is required.
- Ensure all chemicals and cleaners are stored in accordance with WHMIS and HSE guidelines.
- Participate in safety meetings and emergency response procedures.
- Contribute to a positive workplace culture by assisting with new hire training and participating in team activities.
- 1+ years of janitorial experience required.
- Valid WHMIS Certification and/or First Aid Certification considered an asset.
- Ability to crouch, bend, and twist without restriction.
- Ability to push, pull, and lift minimum 30lbs regularly; 50lbs on occasion.
- Ability to work independently.
