As a Cloud Operations Specialist at LCI Education, your primary role will involve establishing technical benchmarks, managing IT infrastructures, including Azure environments, and formulating operational guidelines for cloud services. You will work closely with the global IT infrastructure team, engage in business requirements assessment, and enhance the security of the Microsoft 365 ecosystem. A strong command of the Microsoft 365 suite, Azure, scripting languages, and other cloud technologies is crucial, along with the ability to stay updated with the latest trends and work independently and proactively.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Create technical benchmarks, develop procedures, and produce technical documentation;
- Oversee and maintain LCI's IT infrastructure;
- Manage the company's Azure environments across various settings;
- Establish operational guidelines for Azure services and optimize expenditures;
- Collaborate with the Global IT Infrastructure team on various IT initiatives;
- Contribute to the formulation of standards, guidelines, and best practices;
- Serve as the primary resource for cybersecurity and Azure operations within the team;
- Monitor the cybersecurity landscape and address cloud security incidents.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft 365;
- Comprehensive understanding of virtualization environments and Azure cloud, including AAD, VMs, Intune, Defender, DLP, and MCAS;
- High-level expertise in Azure Front Door;
- Proficient in scripting and automation languages such as PowerShell, JSON, Terraform, Ansible, and Azure Resource Manager;
- Familiarity with web application security principles;
- Knowledge of cloud access and authentication mechanisms, including RBAC, IAM, IdP, SAML, etc.;
- Bilingual proficiency in French and English.
This position requires interaction with both internal and external clients and partners on a national and global scale. Therefore, professional proficiency in English is essential for this role.
