Job Summary

The Take a Hike Foundation is seeking a highly experienced and skilled Clinical Director to lead our mental health program. As a key member of our Program Leadership Team, you will be responsible for ensuring that youth served receive high-quality clinical support in accordance with our Theory of Change and research-based best practices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical direction and oversight to ensure best-in-class clinical practices.
  • Lead and mentor clinical supervisors and peer support practices.
  • Develop and implement ongoing education plans for mental health clinicians.
  • Oversee clinical practicum program and consult on complex cases.
  • Lead clinical research efforts and support program data collection.
  • Develop and implement clinical systems that support continuity and fidelity across all programs.
Leadership and Collaboration
  • Maintain a strong working knowledge of current evidence and best practice in professional standards.
  • Provide guidance and insight into maintaining robust ethical standards of practice.
  • Work collaboratively with the Program Team to identify opportunities and gaps in mental health services.
  • Analyze and support interpretation of statistical data to monitor program outcomes.
  • Work collaboratively with the People and Culture team to ensure strong recruitment and retention strategies for clinical staff.
Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Clinical or Counselling Psychology, Social Work with a clinical focus, or Marriage and Family Therapy.
  • 5 years program management and leadership experience.
  • 5 years of clinical supervision experience.
  • 5-10 years' experience providing counseling to youth and/or families.
  • Registered member of a professional association in the field of mental health.
Terms and Compensation
  • Full-time, permanent position with a salary range of $109,000 - $125,000.
