Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Plumber to join our team at Doitright Plumbing Heating. As a Plumber, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing plumbing systems, including water supply networks and waste and drainage systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Installation
    • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the layout of plumbing systems.
    • Locate and mark positions for pipe connections, passage holes, and fixtures in walls and floors.
    • Cut openings in walls and floors to accommodate pipes and pipe fittings.
  • Pipe Fitting and Testing
    • Join pipes using couplings, clamps, screws, bolts, cement, or soldering, brazing, and welding equipment.
    • Test pipes for leaks using air and water pressure gauges.
  • Pipe Sizing and Estimation
    • Determine piping system requirements and pipe sizing.
    • Estimate costs and materials.
  • Measurement and Fabrication
    • Measure, cut, thread, and bend pipes to the required shape and size.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in the field.
  • Work Environment
    • On-the-road job.
    • Permanent employment.
    • 40 hours per week.
