Our company has been a benchmark contractor in the overhead and underground utilities industry for over 45 years, recognized for our integrity, ethics, and innovative safety and quality practices.

We are seeking a skilled Hydrovac Operator to join our team. This role will be based in Saskatoon, with travel required to serve our clients across Saskatchewan. As a Hydrovac Operator, you will be responsible for the successful completion of hydrovac excavation projects, including utility line exposure, debris removal, slot trenching, and digging.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate equipment safely and efficiently
  • Ensure equipment and vehicles are clean and in good working order
  • Complete hydro excavation projects, including utility line exposure and slot trenching
  • Set up and inspect grounding and/or bonding procedures
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections
  • Comply with company policies and procedures
  • Maintain and use Personal Protective Equipment and specialized safety equipment

Requirements:

  • Valid Class 1 driver's license with Air Brake Endorsement
  • 1-3 years of Hydrovac experience
  • Able to lift heavy loads and work in various outdoor conditions
  • Ability to think and react quickly in changing situations
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Comfortable working around energized utilities
  • Strong attention to detail
  • High school diploma or equivalent

This is a safety-sensitive position, and all new hires will be required to complete a pre-access evaluation, including a drug and alcohol screening.
