Job Overview

This is a unique opportunity to contribute to the success of Last Stop Moving as a Long Haul Driver. As a key member of our organization, you will play a vital role in transporting goods and materials across the country, utilizing your mountain driving expertise and operating a variety of vehicles.

Key Responsibilities
  • Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner
  • Coach colleagues on new methods or work techniques to improve performance and efficiency
  • Drive as part of a two-person team or convoy, utilizing mountain driving expertise
  • Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials
  • Oversee the condition of the vehicle, inspecting tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment
  • Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections, ensuring all aspects of the vehicle are in good working order
  • Transport and handle dangerous goods, prioritizing safety and security
Requirements
  • Basic security clearance
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Efficient interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a team
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
  • Judgement and decision-making skills
  • Organized and reliable, with a strong attention to detail
Work Environment

This is a on-site position, requiring the ability to work at various locations. Willingness to relocate is a must, with relocation costs not covered by the employer.
