Job Title: Pharmacist

Medecins Sans Frontieres is seeking a skilled Pharmacist to join our team. As a Pharmacist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and appropriateness of medical supplies, as well as the smooth coordination of our medical supply lines.

Responsibilities:
  • Ensure good pharmaceutical practices and adherence to national rules.
  • Manage the quality, appropriateness, and coordination of medical supplies, including storage, distribution, and ordering of drugs and medical equipment.
  • Analyze consumption and medical data to advise on local purchases, drug disposal, and medical donations.
  • Supervise colleagues dealing with the daily management of drugs and medical equipment.
Requirements:
  • Full and current registration as a Pharmacist.
  • Minimum two years of relevant post-qualification work experience.
  • Experience in supply management organization of stocks.
  • Experience in managing staff in a multicultural team (supervision and training).
  • Excellent command of English and French (level B2).
  • Relevant travel or work experience in contexts similar to where MSF works (armed conflicts, disasters, public health emergencies, or situations of healthcare exclusion).
  • Available to work six to 12 months.
Assets:
  • Relevant experience in hospital settings or remote locations.
  • Knowledge of other languages (Arabic, Spanish).
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office software (especially Excel).
