About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Construction Electrician Helper to join our team at A&L Electrical Services Ltd. As a key member of our construction team, you will assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems on various construction sites.

Key Responsibilities
  • Load and Transport Materials: Safely load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from job sites.
  • Read Blueprints: Interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine work requirements and ensure accurate installation of electrical systems.
  • Assist in Framing and Construction: Assist electricians in framing houses, erecting walls, and building roofs, ensuring that electrical systems are properly installed and connected.
  • Maintenance and Repair: Perform routine maintenance work on electrical systems, including troubleshooting and repairing faults.
  • Machine Operation: Tend or feed machines or equipment used in construction, such as drills, saws, and generators.
  • Site Safety: Direct traffic at or near construction sites, ensuring a safe working environment for all personnel.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: Will train on the job.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Environment: Outdoors, noisy.
  • Work Setting: Various locations, including high-rise building construction sites, rural areas, factories, and farms.
Working Conditions
  • Fast-Paced Environment: Work in a fast-paced environment with multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Physically Demanding: Perform physically demanding tasks, including handling heavy loads and working at heights.
