About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Construction Laborer to join our team at SVG Construction LTD. as a key member of our construction crew.

Key Responsibilities
  • Material Handling: Load, unload, and transport construction materials to and from job sites.
  • Site Preparation: Assist in erecting and dismantling concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades.
  • Heavy Equipment Operation: Operate pile driving cranes to drive pilings into the earth to provide support for buildings and other structures.
  • Mixing and Pouring: Mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt.
  • Demolition and Cleanup: Assist in demolishing buildings and clean up chemical spills and other contaminants.
  • Debris Removal: Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites.
  • Maintenance and Repair: Tend or feed machines or equipment used in construction.
  • Weight Handling: Lift and move materials weighing up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
Work Environment

This is a permanent, full-time position working 40 hours per week. The work environment is fast-paced and physically demanding, requiring the ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions.

Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience: Willingness to train and learn on the job.
  • Language: English language proficiency.
