Position Overview

Avanti Software Inc. is seeking a dedicated Product Implementation Specialist to join our dynamic team. We pride ourselves on being a forward-thinking organization committed to community engagement and sustainable growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the triaging and prioritization of system defects while developing business requirements for enhancements and project initiatives.
  • Conduct comprehensive end-to-end testing across various workstreams, including test design, execution, and documentation of results.
  • Utilize exceptional communication skills to effectively bridge the gap between technical and business requirements.
  • Engage in research and provide insights into business unit inquiries.
  • Support the scheduling, planning, and monitoring of the software release process.
  • Create and maintain essential documentation such as requirements, issue logs, meeting minutes, schedules, and project updates.
  • Collaborate with functional units including Operations, Managed Services, Application Delivery, and Infrastructure to clarify and gather input for requirements.
  • Act as a liaison between stakeholders and the implementation team, supporting the Product Owner.
Qualifications
  • A diploma or bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Finance, or a related field.
  • 2-3 years of experience in a relevant field, with knowledge of reinsurance considered an asset.
  • Strong understanding of Underwriting Operations and a general knowledge of Claims Operations, particularly in process flows and design.
  • Desire to learn and comprehend the technical architecture of software systems.
  • Experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar role with a focus on software implementation is preferred.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies is advantageous.
  • Experience with Guidewire products and related technologies is a plus.
  • Knowledge of P&C insurance products, including personal and specialty lines, is beneficial.
