GEO Semiconductor Inc., a leading provider of programmable camera video processors, is seeking a skilled Design Verification Engineer - Contract to join our ASIC Verification Team. Located in our San Jose or Toronto office, this role will play a critical part in creating and bringing to market our next generation automotive camera video/vision processors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop test strategies to verify next generation camera processors, ensuring high-quality and reliable products.
  • Collaborate with design engineers to develop test benches and test plans, meeting coverage goals and driving innovation.
  • Participate in selecting best-in-class 3rd party protocol verification IP, enhancing our verification methodology.
  • Debug failures in simulation, working closely with designers to identify root-cause issues and implement solutions.
  • Develop tests to achieve functional safety goals, meeting ISO26262 compliance requirements.
  • Work with systems and software teams on emulation platforms, ensuring seamless integration.
  • Participate in the bring-up and debug of device prototypes, ensuring timely delivery.
  • Provide support to the Product Engineering team, meeting all validation and qualification goals for the product.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science.
  • 5 years of industry experience in design verification, with a strong background in test planning, test bench architecture, and assertions.
  • Constrained random verification experience with SystemVerilog using UVM, with a focus on coverage-driven verification.
  • Strong programming skills in C/C++ and scripting experience with Python, Tcl, or Perl.
