Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and versatile individual to join our team as a General Laborer/Maintenance Technician at McDonald's Gestion Audrey Bernard Inc restaurants on Montreal's South Shore.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on buildings, equipment, and machinery
  • Assist with carpentry, painting, and other general construction tasks
  • Perform minor renovations and installations as required
  • Conduct regular inspections to identify potential problems and prevent malfunctions
  • Collaborate with other teams to ensure smooth operations
  • Stay up-to-date with new technologies and techniques to enhance performance
  • Troubleshoot plumbing, electrical, air conditioning, and other systems
Requirements
  • At least 2 years' experience in a similar role (general laborer, maintenance technician, etc.)
  • Strong construction and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work at heights and lift heavy loads
  • Experience with power tools and hand tools (e.g. bill press, circular saw, hammer)
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and air-conditioning systems (an asset)
  • Ability to travel easily to our 9 restaurants on Montreal's South Shore
Assets
  • Experience in carpentry, welding, or other specialized trades
  • Certifications in construction or first aid
  • Familiarity with building codes and regulations
  • Own a car
Schedule and Compensation

Part-time, possibility of full-time. Monday to Sunday. $25/hour.
