Job Summary
CAE is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Team Leader Visual Technician to join our team. As a key member of our technical operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the operational activities of the team and ensuring an adequate level of support at various stages of production.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and coordinate testing and integration support activities
- Communicate the state of health of deliverables to stakeholders
- Ensure projects meet evaluation criteria and client requirements
- Attend and participate in project milestone meetings
- Evaluate resource capacity required for future projects
- Encourage continuous improvement activities within the team
- Ensure application of operational processes and procedures
- Assign resources to projects
- Support team in problem solving and facilitating resolution
- Control non-conformities under team responsibility
- Perform administrative and logistical tasks
- Resolve customer issues promptly and courteously
Qualifications
- College diploma in avionics, electronics, telecommunications, IT or related field
- Multi-talented individual with expertise in electronics/avionics/information technology
- Excellent analytical skills and ability to read electrical and mechanical diagrams
- Strong understanding of avionics/electronics environment and its language
- Excellent communication and project management skills
- Strong customer focus and excellent customer service skills
