Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Lalichan's The Coconut Restaurant Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food preparation and service team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish and Implement Operational Procedures

The Food Service Supervisor will be responsible for establishing methods to meet work schedules, ensuring that food and service meet quality control standards, and maintaining records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.

Supervise and Coordinate Food Preparation and Service Team

The successful candidate will supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, and estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation.

Ensure Quality Control and Customer Satisfaction

The Food Service Supervisor will be responsible for ensuring that food and service meet quality control standards, maintaining a clean and safe work environment, and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Manage Inventory and Supplies

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, and ensuring that inventory and supplies are managed efficiently.

Requirements
  • Education

Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

Experience

1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service environment

Physical Demands

Fast-paced environment, work under pressure, and standing for extended periods

Personal Suitability

Excellent oral communication, flexibility, and ability to work in a team environment

Working Conditions

The Food Service Supervisor will work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on providing excellent customer service and ensuring that food and service meet quality control standards.

Language

The primary language of work is English.

Work Schedule

The successful candidate will work 35 to 40 hours per week.
