Parts Counter Sales Representative

Company Overview:
Green Diamond Equipment is a prominent John Deere dealership in the Maritime region, dedicated to providing exceptional service through our extensive network of locations.

Role Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Parts Counter Sales Representative to join our team. This position is crucial for ensuring customer satisfaction through effective parts sales and support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage with customers to promote and sell parts and accessories tailored to their needs.
  • Accurately record all sales transactions and ensure the proper processing of parts orders.
  • Provide necessary parts to service technicians promptly.
  • Assist in the organization and maintenance of merchandise displays while ensuring the parts department remains clean and orderly.
  • Verify incoming shipments and assist in managing inventory locations for Machine Down and Stock Orders.
  • Address shortages and expedite resolutions by communicating with management.
  • Maintain departmental tools, equipment, and vehicles in optimal condition.
  • Support the preparation of departmental reports and assist with various projects as assigned by the Parts Manager.
  • Collaborate with other departments as directed.

Qualifications:

  • Proficient in basic data entry and keyboarding.
  • Familiarity with parts and machinery.
  • Strong teamwork abilities.
  • Capability to lift items weighing up to 75 lbs.
  • High School diploma or equivalent experience.
  • Forklift certification is advantageous.
