Position Overview:

The Role of the Registered Nurse:

  • Operates across diverse clinical environments, taking charge of the assessment, planning, execution, and evaluation of patient care.

  • Facilitates client-centered care by supporting patients and their families in adapting to evolving healthcare needs.
  • Exhibits a comprehensive knowledge base, grounding practice in nursing science along with insights from related fields and humanities.
This is a PERMANENT FULL-TIME (1.0 FTE) POSITION.
Work schedules will include both day and night shifts, rotating between 07:00 to 19:00 and 19:00 to 07:00 hours.

About the Unit:

The facility serves as a referral hub for several community hospitals and a diagnostic center, catering to a regional population.

It features a capacity of 158 acute care beds and 102 extended care beds.

A comprehensive range of services is available, excluding certain specialized surgeries.

This environment offers a rich opportunity to engage with various medical and surgical nursing units, enhancing and diversifying your nursing expertise.


The newly established medical unit specializes in Peritoneal Dialysis, accommodating 28 beds. No prior experience in PD is necessary, as training will be provided. The unit operates with a collaborative approach, utilizing both RNs and LPNs. Day shifts include a Charge Nurse and a Unit Clerk, fostering extensive interaction with allied health professionals including Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, Social Work, Speech Language Pathology, dietary, Pharmacy, and discharge planning nursing.
