About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Welder to join our team at Winnipeg Dig & Demolition Inc. as a key member of our operations team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Interpretation and Execution: Interpret welding process specifications and execute them accurately to ensure high-quality results.
  • Equipment Operation: Operate manual or semi-automatic, fully automated welding equipment to meet production demands.
  • Blueprint Reading: Read and interpret welding blueprints, drawings specifications, manuals, and processes to ensure adherence to standards.
  • Quality Control: Examine welds and ensure they meet standards and/or specifications, maintaining a high level of quality control.
  • Maintenance and Repair: Maintain and perform minor repairs on welding, brazing, and soldering equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Work Environment: Work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on safety and productivity, adhering to company policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Education: Other trades certificate or diploma.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience or equivalent experience in a related field.
  • Language: Fluency in English is required.
  • Work Hours: 35 to 40 hours per week.
