About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Nubo Kitchen + Bar. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our kitchen and ensuring that our high standards of quality and service are consistently met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Coordinate Kitchen Staff: Lead and motivate our kitchen team to ensure that all food is prepared and presented to the highest standards.
  • Train and Develop Staff: Provide ongoing training and development opportunities to help our staff improve their skills and knowledge.
  • Inventory Management: Manage inventory levels and ensure that all ingredients and supplies are ordered and received in a timely manner.
  • Quality Control: Conduct regular quality control checks to ensure that all food meets our high standards.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service and resolve any customer complaints or concerns in a professional and timely manner.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
  • Culinary Knowledge: Have a thorough knowledge of our culinary genres and be able to provide guidance and support to our kitchen team.
  • Scheduling: Create and manage schedules to ensure that our kitchen is adequately staffed at all times.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Certifications: Food Safety Certificate.
  • Skills: Strong leadership and communication skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, attention to detail, flexibility, and team player.
