Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Hairstylist to join our team at Golden Clips Laser & Hair Studio Ltd. As a key member of our salon team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional hair care services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cut and Style Hair: Cut and trim hair according to client's instructions or preferences, using a variety of techniques and tools.
  • Shampoo and Treat Hair: Shampoo customers' hair, and provide other hair treatments such as waving, straightening, and tinting.
  • Beard and Mustache Services: Shave and trim beards and mustaches to maintain a clean and stylish appearance.
  • Scalp and Hair Care: Provide scalp conditioning massages and apply hair extensions to enhance the overall look and feel of our clients' hair.
  • Color and Chemical Services: Apply bleach, tints, dyes, or rinses to colour, frost, or streak hair, using a variety of techniques and products.
  • Wig and Hair Piece Services: Clean and style wigs and hair pieces to ensure they look their best.
  • Consultation and Advice: Suggest hair styles compatible with client's physical features and preferences, providing expert advice and guidance.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Work Environment: Ability to work in a fast-paced salon environment, with exposure to odours and non-smoking conditions.
  • Physical Capabilities: Hand-eye co-ordination and ability to stand for extended periods.
  • Personal Suitability: Client focus, dependability, and team player skills.
