Key Responsibilities
  • Instructing Apprentices

You will be responsible for training and mentoring our apprentices in the art of drywall finishing.

Filling Joints and Nail Indentations

You will use a trowel and broad knife to fill joints, nail indentations, holes, and cracks with joint compound.

Finishing Corners and Angles

You will be responsible for finishing corners and angles, and creating decorative designs in the finish coat, if required.

Measuring, Cutting, and Installing Drywall Sheets

You will measure, cut, fit, and install drywall sheets to ensure a smooth and even finish.

Mixing Plaster Ingredients

You will mix plaster ingredients to the desired consistency to ensure a high-quality finish.

Smoothing Out Excess Compound

You will smooth out excess compound and allow the coat to dry to ensure a smooth and even finish.

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities
  • Physically Demanding

This role requires a high level of physical fitness and stamina to perform the duties of a Drywall Finisher.

Repetitive Tasks

This role involves repetitive tasks, such as filling joints and nail indentations, and requires attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
