Warehouse Operations Manager

About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Warehouse Team Lead to join our team at Saint-Gobain in Halifax. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient functioning of our warehouse.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement and enforce company policies and procedures to maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
- Provide exceptional customer service and ensure excellent communication with internal and external stakeholders.
- Lead and motivate warehouse personnel to achieve high levels of productivity and quality.
- Collaborate with various departments to ensure seamless operations and efficient inventory management.
- Monitor and control stock levels, inventory, and deliveries to maintain optimal levels.
- Identify areas for improvement and implement process enhancements to increase efficiency and productivity.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and company standards.
Requirements
- 5+ years of warehouse experience with 2+ years of supervisory experience.
- Outstanding customer service skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Computer proficiency, with experience in Oracle a plus.
- Forklift experience required.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to lift, push, and pull materials (up to 50 Lbs.).
