Math Tutor Job Opportunity

We are seeking a certified math teacher or a teacher in the process of completing their degree in Education to join our team at Prep Academy Tutors. As a math tutor, you will provide one-on-one academic support to students in their homes, helping them to understand and excel in mathematics.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver personalized math lessons to students based on their needs and abilities
  • Develop and provide supplemental math assignments to reinforce student understanding
  • Offer remedial and enrichment support to students to help them catch up or get ahead in math
  • Communicate with parents or guardians to discuss student progress and provide updates
Qualifications and Skills
  • Current or soon-to-be certified teacher with experience teaching math
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility to work varied hours, including weekdays and weekends
