Building Site Assistant

Work Environment

Multiple job sites.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Transport and handle construction materials efficiently.
  2. Set up and take down concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, and barricades.
  3. Mix, pour, and distribute materials including concrete and asphalt.
  4. Support the medical examiner overseeing the site.
  5. Assist in the alignment of pipes during pipeline projects.
  6. Help with drilling and blasting operations at construction locations.
  7. Contribute to the framing of structures, including walls and roofs.
  8. Level ground to meet precise grading specifications.
  9. Assist in paving and raking asphalt surfaces.
  10. Participate in the demolition of structures.
  11. Organize and clean salvaged materials.
  12. Manage cleanup of chemical spills and contaminants.
  13. Remove debris and rubble from construction areas.
  14. Operate or tend to machinery and equipment used in construction.
  15. Control traffic flow at or near construction zones.
