Responsibilities

  • Oversee train control and signaling operations on construction projects.
  • Conduct daily inspections of work completed.
  • Serve as the liaison and coordinator between contractors and engineered equipment suppliers.
  • Address and resolve any issues that arise during the project.
  • Establish budgetary guidelines and ensure adherence to cost control measures.
  • Provide safety training and awareness for all personnel involved.
  • Set quality standards for all projects and ensure compliance with quality assurance protocols.
  • Develop and manage project schedules, coordinating work with contractors and ensuring timely inspections.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in the construction sector.
  • Proven experience in supervising teams.
  • Comprehensive understanding of technical train control systems, including both underground and above-ground installations.
  • Ability to manage and collaborate with train control equipment suppliers.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively engage with project teams, subcontractors, vendors, and clients.
  • Proficient in computer applications, particularly Microsoft Excel and Word.
  • Possess a positive attitude and exceptional motivational skills.
  • Capable of accessing all areas of a construction site.

Compensation and Benefits

The base compensation for this role ranges from $120,000 to $140,000 per year, subject to variation based on factors such as education, experience, and skill set.
