About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Security Architect to join our team at Intact Financial Corporation. As a Security Architect, you will play a critical role in designing and implementing security solutions for our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contribute to the creation and improvement of security architecture practices, processes, governance, and compliance.
  • Develop and maintain security architecture aligned with business strategies and compliance requirements.
  • Identify and assess security risks related to technology projects and propose appropriate solutions to mitigate these risks.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to integrate security controls into systems, networks, and applications from the design phase.
  • Monitor emerging security trends and threats and recommend updates or improvements to the existing security architecture.
  • Ensure security architectures comply with current standards and regulations.
  • Provide technical advice and support to project teams to integrate security practices into development and operations.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, cybersecurity, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of knowledge and experience in security architecture, with a strong understanding of network, application, and infrastructure security concepts.
  • Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or TOGAF are highly desirable.
  • Technical skills in security technologies and a strong knowledge of security frameworks.
  • Analytical skills to assess security risks and design practical solutions to mitigate them.
  • Excellent communication skills to translate technical concepts into terms understandable by non-technical stakeholders.
