About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Legal Affairs Technician to join our team at Desjardins. As a key member of our legal department, you will play a critical role in protecting the organization's legal interests by providing technical support and expertise.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process and analyze legal files to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational policies.

  • Conduct technical studies, research, and analysis on legal topics to provide expert advice and support to the legal team.

  • Provide technical support for tasks, projects, and operational issues, including assisting with the planning and coordination of legal activities.

  • Prepare and draft reports, documents, summaries, and technical notes to support the legal team's initiatives.

  • Follow up with practitioners and forward files in accordance with established processes.

  • Help practitioners understand and use our unit's processes and tools.
