Senior Cost Consultant Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Senior Cost Consultant to join our team at Turner & Townsend Group in Ottawa. As a key member of our Real Estate team, you will play a crucial role in supporting top clients and delivering exceptional cost management services.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned Senior Cost Consultant to take on new challenges and contribute to the growth of our team. You will be responsible for preparing construction cost estimate reports, managing estimating and cost planning activities, and applying value management techniques to drive business value.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare comprehensive construction cost estimate reports at all stages of design.
  • Manage and take ownership of estimating and cost planning activities, including presenting the final cost plan/estimate to the client team.
  • Apply value management techniques to identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
  • Conduct post-tender cost analysis and reconciliations against values provided by the contractor.
  • Research and analyze construction market conditions in Canada, including official published data and market trends.
